Cast of Dareka ga Watashi ni Kiss wo Shita on Opening Day
Horikita Maki, Matsuyama Kenichi, Tegoshi Yuya and Hans Canosa were at Shinjuku Wald 9 on 27th March for the opening day of the movie Dareka ga Watashi ni Kiss wo Shita."With a foreign director, it made for a stimulating set. There are many scenes with only Japanese people too but being with people from different cultures was a learning point. I think the film will act as a good cultural exchange as well,"commented Matsuyama on the international cast and staff.
This is the first that Tegoshi has worked with a foreign film director too. "Together with Director Hans, we picked out the glasses and outfits I would wear. From the start, we would have discussions before making any decisions. Everyday was something new. With English used on set, I was able to experience the feeling of an international school. There was something to look forward to everyday." Hans Canosa commented,"I love Japan. It has been one of my dreams to make a movie with Japanese actors. I am very happy to have worked with the 3 stars who are wonderful people as well."
"What if 3 men confessed to you in real life?" asked reporters to Horikita. "I... I'll boast about it to my friends,"she replied laughing. To the two actors, reporters asked,"If you were a girl, would you date cool Yuji, gentle Mirai or enthusiastic and cheerful Ace?" Matsuyama replied,"Probably Mirai. I have a connection to my character. I myself can be complicated and messy so the character Yuji is a little unpleasant." Tegoshi agreed,"Yuji is out for me too, sorry. I'll choose the boyish and frank Ace." As for Horikita, she replied,"I like complicated, messy people, so Yuji." As Matsuyama did his victory pose, Horikita quipped,"Because he (Matsuyama) just requested very softly that I say that." Matsuyama quickly replied,"You're not supposed to tell!" At the end, the four of them threw tulips, a flower that symbolizes love, into the crowd. Hans Canosa has announced in Facebook that the movie is slated to open in Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Singapore and Malaysia with other territories still in discussion.

Ryo and Yamapi down with influenza
Nishikido Ryo and Yamashita Tomohisa down with influenza

Nishikido Ryo (24) and Yamashita Tomohisa (24) from the popular group NEWS are likely to have been infected with the new strain of influenza, type A influenza. This was made known by a fax from their agency.
Nishikido was diagnosed on 31st August and Yamashita on 1st September. They have been instructed by their doctors to stop all work immediately and to rest at home until complete recovery.
Also according to TBS, there are still scenes that Nishikido is yet to complete for Episode 7 of the drama Orthros no Inu (to be broadcast on the 4th) so they are still considering the matter. Depending on his recovery, the future episodes will also be under review.

According to various reports, Ryo was feeling unwell on the morning of the 30th with a fever of 38 degrees. He left filming of '24 Hour Television' to go to a nearby hospital. After testing negative for influenza, he was prescribed medicine for cold and fever and went back on the program. He was also put on intravenous drip while on location. The next morning, when he arrived at Midoriyama Studio to shoot Orthros no Inu, he reported feeling ill again and had a temperature of 39 degrees. He went to another hospital for a check-up and was tested positive for influenza this time.
Yamapi was fine during '24 Hour Television' but on the 1st at around noon, while filming for Buzzer Beat, started feeling feverish with a temperature of 38.2 degrees. He went to hospital, was tested positive for Influenza A and put on intravenous drip. Filming for the rest of the day was cancelled and he went home.
According to authorized personnel, there are no reports of influenza among the rest of the NEWS members or any of their co-actors. In Johnny's Jimusho, the talents are asked to put on masks and be vigilant about washing their hands.
Yamapi has not finished filming for the episode of Buzzer Beat to be aired on the 7th. There is a possibility of change in broadcast dates.

Kasuga Toshiaki of the owarai duo Audrey has been diagnosed with Influenza A. According to his agency, he was feeling unwell on the noon of the 2nd and went to a hospital in Tokyo for a check-up where he tested positive. Audrey took part in NTV's '24 Hour Television' on 29th and 30th August.
Update 3 : 3rd September
Johnny's Jimusho reported that Yamapi's and Ryo's temperatures are almost back to normal. "They are heading towards recovery," said authorized personnel on the 2nd. Their return to work though is still undecided.

Lawson's new CM 'Deserted Island ・ Warm Nights' fronted by popular group NEWS will start airing nation-wide from the 2nd of December.
This is the 6th appearance of NEWS in a Lawson CM so everything went smoothly on-location. The members who are stranded on a deserted island receive a kotatsu (table with heater) from Santa Claus but since there is no electricity, it cannot be used... At that point, they get red blankets from Lawson and regains their spirit, ending it on a comical note.
Running concurrently with the start of the CM is the 'Attamaru-son! Campaign', with the blanket as the prize. Collecting seals attached to selected items, NEWS Select's red checkered blankets and NEWS original watches are some of the prizes up for grabs. Yamashita Tomohisa (23) said, making his appeal, "Girls can use the blanket by putting it over their skirts, while they're in class, in the car and such."

人気グループ、ＮＥＷＳが出演するローソンの新ＣＭ「無人島・あったかい夜編」が、１２月２日から全国でオンエアされる。
ＮＥＷＳにとってローソンのＣＭは今回が第６弾とあって撮影現場は和気あいあい。無人島に取り残されたメンバーに、サンタクロースからこたつがプレゼントされるが、電気がなくて使えない…。そんなときローソンで赤いブランケットをゲットし元気になる、というコミカルな内容に仕上がった。
実はこのブランケットは、ＣＭと同時にスタートする「あったまろーソン！キャンペーン」の賞品。対象商品に付いているシールを集めると、ＮＥＷＳセレクトの赤いチェックのブランケットやＮＥＷＳオリジナルウオッチがもらえる。山下智久（２３）は「女の子はスカートをはくし、授業中や車の中で使って」とアピールしていた。

Hello !! Let's do our best today too (^O^)/ Today is the day that the drama for next season is announced !! Filming begins in the middle of December and I'm really looking forward to it !! The theme for the drama this time is lifesaving !! This drama requires seriousness !! Since it depicts the importance and value of life, I cannot approach this half-heartedly !! I will mentally prepare myself for my role in the lifesaving team from now on !! It's a cool January drama but I'd like to make it the hottest one (^O^)/
Everytime I do Yukke's blog, I feel like I'm typing his entry while he shouts it in my ear. The drama he's talking about is RESCUE ～ Tokubetsu Koudo Kyuujotai. Here's Massu's comment from http://www.tbs.co.jp/rescue2009/.

When I saw the training, I could only say one word, "Sugoi."
I have done hill-climbing so before I tried this, I thought I could at least go up the rope a little, but I couldn't at all. From now on I will strengthen my body, train constantly and push myself to my limit.
I have always been on good terms with Nakamaru-kun but we've never worked together. I look forward to it.
Because we can talk freely, I will get advice from him, we will help each other out and be a plus to each other.
I think this is Johnny's way of trimming Massu (^_^;)

こんにちわ!!今日も１日頑張っていきましょう(^O^)/今日は次のクールのドラマの発表の日です!!撮影は１２月の中旬からなんですが、今からすごく楽しみです!!今回のドラマの舞台は人命救助!!今回はシリアスな芝居が要求されてくると思います!!命の大切さ重さが描かれているので、中途半端にはやれないって本当に思っています!!救助隊という事で今から役作りを意識していかなくてはです!!１月クールのドラマですが、一番アツいドラマになったらいいなって思います(^O^)/

訓練を見て、すごい、の一言です。
登坂訓練の体験をしてみて、やる前はちょっとくらいロープを登れるかな、と思ってたんですけど全然無理でした。これから体を鍛えて、訓練を積んで、しっかりと出来るところまで自分を持っていきたいと思います。
中丸くんとは普段から仲がいいんですが一緒に仕事をすることはなかったので、楽しみです。
何でも話せるので、アドバイスをもらったり、助け合って、お互いプラスにしたいと思います。

Omedetou Hiro !
To commemorate the DVD sale of his keitai drama, 100 Scene no Koi, Mizushima Hiro went to Shibuya-Ax (23rd March) for a meet and greet session with his fans. And he actually shook all of the more than 4000 of his fans hands who turned up, taking 5 and a half hours to do so ! He was given a surprise to celebrate his graduation from Keio University (Faculty of Environment and Information Studies) where he had repeated one year. A cake in the form of his graduation certificate.
「芸能界を続けるには大学を卒業するという父との約束を果たせてホッとしています」と笑顔を見せた。
Smiling, he said "I'm relieved that I have fulfilled a promise I made with my father, that in order to continue in the world of show business, I had to graduate."

I saw the Toma CM for KFC, but I was wondering if this one is also Toma ? It looks so... plastic.
From Friday magazine, Tegoshi with some girl. Supposedly he spent the night drinking away with her and only went home at noon.
He still doesn't look anywhere near old enough to drink.

Snow Express - NEWS
This was 99% done by Grumpy. I just stood beside her time to time swaying like a fish. This tune sounded beautiful from the first time I heard it, but with the lyrics, it actually makes my heart go dokidoki. Especially the rap part. Kyaaaamapi~
Japanese has totally ruined me. Before this, the idea of anything being romantic made me smirk. I must be the only person on Earth who didn't watch Titanic. My favourite movies were stuff like Jason, Freddy, Jason v Freddy, Aliens, Predator, Aliens v Predator, and anything that involves giant mutants devouring people. Now I dream of fluffy clouds and being spirited away by magic trains.
