Buzzer Beat
Cast Preview Impressions

Cast members share their thoughts with the audience after preview on 9th July:

Yamashita Tomohisa
(Knowing that not only locals, but foreigners are also among the audience)
Many people came today, even from far away, thank you very much.
Watching the drama, for me personally too, it was interesting.
Although I have been given the lead role, this work is the endeavor of everyone, the cast, staff, and director.
With everybody making a serious effort to make a great production, even when filming is difficult, I want to give it my best.

Kitagawa Keiko
I enjoyed watching it as part of an audience too.
Letting everyone watch the first episode was nerve-racking and I was very conscious of being evaluated.
Hearing laughter and cheers soon after made me glad.
I'll be happy if everyone watching here tells everyone else how interesting it was.

Aibu Saki
The basketball game was time-consuming during filming.
It was an emotionally-packed scene and I was moved hearing everyone's cheers from the stands.
Look forward to my role in a romance that slowly grows muddy, pure love as it may be (*laugh*)

Kanjiya Shihori
It was fun watching it together with everyone. Thank you very much.

Mizobata Junpei
Cool, charming, interesting, sparkling, heart-pounding, it's packed with interesting elements, I want to know what happens next! Kitagawa-san's slap in the face was something else (*laugh*)

Nagai Masaru
I'm happy being able to share the drama with everyone.
It's been a while, Getsu 9 has returned! This is what the drama feels like. Will definitely watch its continuation.

Ito Hideaki
(Imitating Yamashita's and Nagai's comments)
It was interesting for me personally too. Feels like Getsu 9 has returned.
I think this will be another great Getsu 9 drama under Director Nagayama.
For so many people attending today, coming from far away, thank you very much.

Narimiya Hiroki

9 July 2009
My favourite place.

My first job after the vacation was calendar photography.

This time the location is Odaiba's Hotel Nikko Tokyo.

This was where I celebrated my birthday with a group of friends last year.

There's just something special about this place.
Somehow the concept this time has that kind of feeling about it.

Words can't describe it, it just has the best view.

It's beautiful in the day, but
when the sun sets it gets even better.

The photography was done at a place that I liked,
with the best staff.

Here's a sneak peak.

I'm hoping that it'll turn out good [laugh]

There was much fuss over the shots, and it took some time.
But I had fun too.
I hope the people who view the photos will also enjoy them.

Ah yes, my travel stories from New York.
There will be photos in the Gallery section soon.

Please look forward to it.

This has been Narimiya.

Odaibaaaaa. My favourite place too.
Can't afford Hotel Nikko though (>_<)

Buzzer Beat Blog

8th July 2009 (Wednesday)

Nice to meet you.
Niku, the assistant producer here.
I'll try my best to update 'JC ARCS Communication' from now on, yoroshiku onegai shimasu.

Well, it's been about a month since filming started.
It could be felt yesterday too, at the Drama Festival, how well everyone is getting along with each other, making the filming location a fun one.
Even when the schedule is tight, everyone can persevere when filming locations are filled with laughter ne...

Too bad about the Drama Festival but everyone looked like they were having fun.
Free throw, although most didn't go in, Nagai-kun saying,"Please watch Buzzer Beat," that was pretty good... (*laugh*)
Even though they were being made fun of by Osugi-san, it was cute how Ito-san and Mizobata-kun were able to answer properly... (*Laugh*)
"We'll do our best for the staff," said Yamashita-kun. With those feelings, the money doesn't matter... (*laugh*)

For 3 months, all the way to the end, this member feels like she can do her best~ (*laugh*)

There'll be a complete preview event tomorrow.
Actually, I haven't seen the completed version myself, I think I'll watch it with everyone else who are attending.
It might appear on Super News, so please check.

Well then, see you.

8 July 2009
Rainy season ↓

Good evening! !

Today too, I was filming for Buzzer Beat (^O^)

Today was kinda humid ne? When will this rainy season pass?

Since when did I dislike the rain so much?

It's part of the lyrics from HY's 'Suteki na Kikkake' (^O^)

It's exactly how I feel right now o(^-^)o

The song is positive and energetic! It's great, so take a listen (*^o^*)

I'll be making an appearance on 'Haneru no Tobira', please watch it (>_<)

I played a bit of basketball ↑↑

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Junpei made a 10-minute appearance where he ate lots of stuff. He picked the most delicious dish, and the one who cooked it (I think) fed him a spoonful of the food. He looked like he wanted to run away from the lady, lol.

Everyone, did you watch yesterday's live broadcast? ( ̄▽ ̄)b
I tried my best in basketball!

In the end, it was a come-from-behind victory ( ´∀`)/~
During the brain teasers, I was lagging and I thought about what I could do but in the end I redeemed myself (^-^)/

It was great!

He was so kakkoi!!

Disappointment ↓

Good evening! !

I was horrible at the Drama Festival ↓

I was hopeless during free throw despite being in a basketball drama (T_T)

I wonder if the outcome would have been different if I had changed my decision then ↓

I'm seriously annoyed. Very sorry to all the supporters.

I'm gonna be depressed for half a year ↓ [laugh]

It was super fun though (*^o^*)

Buzzer Beat ~Gakeppuchi no Hero~ begins next Monday at 9pm!!

The first episode will be a 90-minute special, yoroshiku (>_<)

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Here's a pic of Junpei grinning, right after he squeaked when he had answered incorrectly. Poor guy was just a nervous wreck, his panicked expressions are classic!
