Hong Kong - Day 2

Hello.

It's my second day in Hong Kong.

Yesterday, I had lively rounds of champagne

It seems like it's hard for me to get out of bed.

My manager took a photo of my sleeping face.

But, I feel refreshed in the evening.

At last, it's time for the event.

It's a 2-shot scene on a dinner cruise!!

Hong Kong is definitely warmer than Japan,

but as expected, it's cold when you're out at sea.

Unconsciously, I was hugging myself halfway through the scene (laugh)

I took a photo with this scenery behind me.

To all of you in Japan.

It's a million-dollar night view.

Participants of this event came dressed-up,

such consideration is heartening.

But, there were many children who were lightly-dressed,
I hope they don't catch a cold.

I'm going to bed now.

Well then,

This has been Narimiya.

Kimura Ryo
Down with influenza

Kimura Ryo, absent from press conference due to influenza

Actor Kimura Ryo was absent from the planned press conference of Inoue Kabuki's production, Kagerou Touge (Mayfly Pass) on the 14th of January due to being down with influenza. During the interview, Kimura promised his return with his comment. "I will definitely get better by the time practice starts later this month. Everyone, please give me your support and thank you in advance."

According to his agency, Kimura was feeling feverish on the 11th, then following a check-up for his next work assignment at a hospital in Osaka, he was diagnosed with influenza. He was absent from a planned event on that day as well. With him down, his other work has also been affected. With the aim of a complete recovery before the start of practice for this stage production, he is now in bed rest.

"Kagerou Touge" runs Mar. 13 to Apr. 12 at Akasaka Act Theater and Apr. 21 to May 7 at Umeda Arts Theater in Osaka. For more information, call Dipps Planet at (03) 5283-0656 or visit www.kageroutouge.com

Dear Taka-chan, please get well soon.

P.S. If it helps any, I was more moved by your confession than A-kun's (ρ_;)

Matsuda Shota
Character image for DS game

Popular young actor Matsuda Shota has been chosen as the new image character for Capcom's Nintendo DS game, Gyakuten Kenji which will go on sale on the 28th of May.

Comment from Matsuda Shota
I love the Gyakuten Kenji series too, so I am very happy to be appointed as the image character this time. I would like to convey the charm of the all-new Gyakuten Kenji, unlike what everyone has seen in the series before. Please look forward to it.

Matsuda Shota
Happy that family members are increasing

Matsuda Shota on his brother's marriage, "I'm happy that that our family members are increasing."

Concerning the marriage of model Ohta Lina (21) to his brother Matsuda Ryuhei (25), Matsuda Shota (23) commented,"When our father passed away, our family became smaller. This time, with the two of them married, our family members are increasing and I'm happy. From now on too, I want to get along well with everyone."

~

Shota should also start thinking of playing his own part in multiplying his family members. This will incite riots but watching the behind the scenes from HYDF, it looks like there's simmering chemistry between him and Mao hiding under the surface (´~`;)

Here's another photo of his sis-in-law, I think her hair looks better before. She's also known as Rina Ohta but her modelling agency lists her as Lina Ohta.

10 January 2009
I'm back.

I've returned home.

Without any injury, I'm back safely in Japan.

Everyone, I'm really sorry for making you worry.

Wow... Brazil was really far.

It's like on the other side of the world.

It was a really stimulating and enjoyable trip.

It's impossible to express it in words.

Because the memories of this trip cannot be put into a BOX,
I'll talk about it in time to come.

I wonder if I got a tan?

In the car returning home from the airport,

I saw a turnip at the front of a greengrocer's store.

Somehow...

I felt relieved.

Narimiya's life in Japan for this year begins with a turnip.

Yosh!!

I'll do my best!!

This year too everyone, please treat me well!!

This has been Narimiya.

11 January 2009
Souvenirs from Brazil.

Good morning.

I've been asleep ever since I returned home yesterday.

Total jetlag.

When I woke up, I looked out the window.

It was dark.

Ah, it's evening already~

1 day had already passed by!

I got up quickly and bought a mobile phone.

It's been inconvenient.

Ah, that's right.

I bought these in Brazil.

This,

an Isabela Capeto beads T-shirt.

Sandals which seem to be popular in Brazil.

Facetted glasses.

Well then

I'm going for the New Year's shrine visit.

I will wish for this year to be a good one.

And so...

This has been Narimiya.

12 January 2009
It's midnight...

New Year's visit to the shrine.

Everyone, what kind of wish did you make?

Goodnight.

This has been Narimiya.

Thanks to unleashthegeek for info on the beads shirt!
This guy seems to be always draped in designer wear~

Akai Ito
Opening abroad !

Akai Ito movie advancing around Asia

The movie Akai Ito, based on a popular mobile phone novel which has been also been serialised into a drama, will open in 5 Asian regions.

According to distributor Shouchiku, after the preview was shown at the American Film Market (AFM) last November in Los Angeles, contracts to distribute the film were taken up by Inter-Continental for Hong Kong and Macao, Cathay for Singapore and Astro for Malaysia and Brunei. The buyers from each of the countries expressed their interest in the unique drama and movie collaboration and are looking into a similar drama-movie link development. It is expected to open in Hong Kong in early March.

Main actors Minamisawa Nao and Mizobata Junpei took part in their 12th stage greeting at Shinjuku Piccaddily on the 10th of January. "This will be shown abroad too, I wonder if it will touch a chord with them..." Minamisawa wondered while at the same time delighted. "I wonder if it will be alright since it's in Japanese," Mizobata said, looking a little lost, then continued enthusiastically, "The feeling when people fall in love is universal. This is a movie that till make each of the countries believe in the red thread of fate. I will do my best filming for the continuing drama."

~

Do you hear that joyous yodelling? That's Grumpy believing in fate heh. Now if only we could lure Junpei into a stage greeting here....
