Inoue Mao is new image character for FLET's Hikari
On 28th January, Nippon Telegraph and Telephone West Corporation (NTT West) introduced actor Toyokawa Etsushi (47), actress Inoue Mao (23) and actor/comedian Ishii Masanori (36) as image characters for its fiber optic broadband service 'FLET's Hikari'.
NTT West is offering its service under 3 plans; FLET's Hikari Next, FLET's Hikari Premium and B FLET's. Toyokawa, Inoue and Ishii act as Hikari committee members (Hikari ni shite iin) promoting the service, using 'Hikari ni shite iin desu' as their catchphrase.
Three different versions of the CM will start airing in Western Japan from 1st February.

Top 10 Agencies for Aspiring Talents
Magazine 'Gekkan De☆View' (published by Oricon Entertainment) conducted a survey asking aspiring talents into the entertainment world which agency they would like to be in. The top 3 agencies chosen were Ken On, Stardust Promotion and FlaMme.
Ken On represents many faces regularly seen in dramas, from established actors to young and rising talents. Its stable includes Karasawa Toshiaki, Sorimachi Takashi, Amami Yuki, Kanno Miho, Mizushima Hiro, Eikura Nana, Shida Mirai and Narumi Riko.
Takeuchi Yuuko, Shibasaki Kou, Kitagawa Keiko, Ichihara Hayato and Okada Masaki are some names from the wide range of talents that Stardust Promotion represents.
Compared to the two agencies, FlaMme is made up of a core of female talents and run by a small staff. Their lineup includes Hirosue Ryoko, Koyuki, and Toda Erika.
The rest of the agencies to round off the top 10 are as follows.

· Avex Entertainment (Hamasaki Ayumi, Koda Kumi)

Full Post »Yamamoto Yusuke voices for Cirque du Freak
Yamamoto Yusuke (22) was at mediarte Tomigaya Studio on the 26th for the Japanese dub of the movie 'Darren Shan' (Japan title release for Cirque du Freak). Yamamoto does the voice for the main character Darren Shan.
This is his first time doing voice work and he talks about some of the difficulties he faced. "It's not something I acted in myself, so it felt difficult to match the action with my voice." Feeling nervous about the challenge ahead of him, he prepared himself beforehand. "Locking myself at home, I watched the movie 6 times. I forced myself to memorize all the lines. Later the staff told me that it was the first time they have worked with someone with such impeccable timing. I was so happy!"
Watanabe Ken (50) appears in the Hollywood production and the actor himself did the voice work for his role in the Japanese dub. Yamamoto recalled his anticipation to work with the experienced actor. "I thought that all the actors come together to do the dub work and I was looking forward to meeting Ken-san. But when I got there the staff told me that everyone else was done already," he said laughing, revealing his inexperience at voice work. "I hope to meet him at upcoming events and have a chat. I want to hear about his experiences."
'Darren Shan' opens in Toho Cinemas nationwide on 19th March.

There was a poster shoot for Eisai yesterday.
During refreshments, we had a really delicious cake and she received a limited DisneySEA Shellie May♪♪
Seems like it's only on sale from 22 January to 14 March.
Mao-san was so touched when she heard that a family member of the staff bought it when they went to Disney SEA.
"I'll take good care of it!!" she said as she carried it carefully home.
Also, the new Mizuho Bank CM starts airing from today.

Mominoki wa Nokotta

It was published in the newspaper and various sources today,
she will play the role of Uno in TV Asahi's drama special 'Mominoki wa Nokotta'.
Filming took place in Kyoto last October.
The filming was done at such a scenic spot, in the early morning the mist is pure white.
It was so beautiful, I secretly took a photo from behind♪
The broadcast day is 20th February (Saturday) from 9 to 11:11pm!
Everyone, please watch!
In winter, Mao-san drinks ginger on location. In Kyoto, she was drinking it all the time too.
Mixing undiluted ginger with hot water seems to warm the body from the core and is good for the body.
The cold days are continuing, so be careful not to catch a cold!
I think I'll finally be able to report on the new CM next week, so look forward to that♪

After a Long Time

Yesterday
To go to a friend's house which is quite a distance away
I took the train
These days I usually travel by car
That's why taking the train is like a rare chance
Then
In midtown
I went to the outdoor skating rink
The last time I skated was in elementary school!?
That was a really time long time ago
I looked back so that my friend
could take a photo of me
with the peace sign
Dangerous, dangerous
I almost fell [laugh]
I realized that
If I hold hands with my friend or anyone else
I won't fall
Is it because my sense of stability increases?
I don't know how to stop the skates
I keep crashing into the barriers
Someone, please teach me
How to stop
Yesterday I went to the gym and skated
It was a healthy day
By the way I didn't even fall once [laugh]

So it's recommended to go in the evening

In this drama, characters are always in 'life and death' situations, and they are pressed to make the best decision. So in this section, we strike Haruma-kun and Takeru-kun with the "Ultimate Question". What choices will they make?
Question: If you were a girl, would you go out with Fujimaru or Otoya!?
Haruma's Answer: Fujimaru
I am Fujimaru! The reasons are... Compared to Otoya, Fujimaru isn't cold, he'll give many reactions. Seems like he's always laughing. His good looks is also a bait! [laugh]
Takeru's Answer: Fujimaru
...Fujimaru. Otoya's character is stiff [laugh]! I wanna have fun. And somehow Fujimaru gives off this impression that he's gentle ne.
