Kitagawa Yuujin and Takashima Aya are married
Kitagawa Yuujin (34) from the duo Yuzu and announcer Takashima Aya (32), also known as Ayapan, sent a fax to the media on 20th October to announce their marriage. On the same day, the marriage ceremony took place at Misogi Shrine in Yamanashi. They registered their marriage in Yokohama. In the fax, they stated that they met about 6 years ago and although they were busy with work, they were able to maintain their relationship with the help of their staff and the people around them. Takashima will continue working after marriage. They plan to hold a wedding reception in Yokohoma next February. Yomiuri weighs in on 16 Autumn dramas. The members of the 5-panel group give their ratings. The last column is the first episode's rating. Some of the things mentioned in the discussion.
Kaze no Garden has solid actors, production and script.
Bloody Monday is a thrilling story-driven drama with a foreign feel that does not rely on popular actors. Another member added that Miura is cute but feels the drama lifts too much from foreign dramas.
The worn-out look that Sasaki Kuranosuke has in Giragira is good, the story is easy to understand, it's refreshing.
Ninomiya Kazunari is perfectly driving Ryusei no Kizuna, an original work, into a drama he owns. The gap between the serious and comedy parts is too wide.
Dramas dealing with difficult themes.
OL Nippon touching on Japan-China relations. Mizukawa Asami in Yume o Kanaeru Zou is fast becoming the late night drama queen. Scandal is like a continuation of Around 40 with suspense. Team Batista no Eikou is riding on the success of the movie and low expectations can't be helped.
Dramas with a sense of deja vu.
Horikita Maki acting the main part in Innocent Love is good. The subject matter of the drama is deep. Salaryman Kintaro cannot be separated from the image of Takahashi Katsunori.
Dramas that fail to excite.
After watching the first episode of Room Of King, there is no feeling of excitement for what happens next. Another member refuted this and said the tempo is good and everyone's stories are explained clearly, an interesting drama. Oh! My Girl !! seems stable and everything will probably turn out as expected. Is Rosa Kato doing well in her comedy role though ? Scrap Teacher, ranked at the bottom, is an inevitable drama created as a vehicle for an idol group.

秋の連ドラ 記者座談会
「Ｙ＆Ｙテレビ」の人気コーナー「ドラマ記者座談会」が、本欄に引っ越してきました。今回の秋ドラマでは１６作品を扱います。記者たちの勝手気ままな放言を、まずはお読み下さい。
睦 いきなりズバズバものを言うんですね……。「ギラギラ」は佐々木蔵之介の疲れた目つきがいい。ストーリー展開も分かりやすく、スカッとしました。
小 確かに佐々木の演技も物語も面白かったけど、ホストを美化しているのが気に入らない。
堀 視聴率で一番は「流星の絆」。原作ものなのに、完全に宮藤官九郎のドラマになっていた。深刻な設定と笑いの部分のギャップが大き過ぎるのが気になるが、それもクドカンの計算？
あえて難しいテーマ
岡 いや、過度にコミカルな演出は興ざめ。せっかく骨太の原作があるのに。「ＯＬにっぽん」は、派遣対正社員、中国対日本という、あえて賛否が起きそうなテーマに踏み込んでいる意欲を買いたい。
汗 うん、個人的に今期のベストワン。「視聴者の目をくぎ付けにしてやる」という演出の姿勢は、構えの大きいＢ級ドラマとして、高く評価できる。
睦 えーっ。「日本人は甘い、たるんでる！」というのをこれでもかと言われている感じでイヤです。大阪・読売テレビ制作の「夢をかなえるゾウ」は水川あさみのアップがたくさん見られてうれしい。前クールの「３３分探偵」といい、今や深夜ドラマの女王です。
堀 「ＳＣＡＮＤＡＬ」は「Ａｒｏｕｎｄ４０」「四つの嘘」に続く「アラフォー」ものかと思いきや、サスペンス風でもあり、続きが見たくなった。
岡 「チーム・バチスタの栄光」は、映画の成功を受けて、２匹目のドジョウねらい。評価が低くてもやむを得ないよ。
汗 主演の伊藤淳史はいい俳優だけど、いつも役柄が似ているね。
既視感タップリ
堀 「小児救命」は、「ちゅらさん」や「パンドラ」に続き、小西真奈美がまた医者役で既視感たっぷり。「七瀬ふたたび」は原作のイメージにぴったりの蓮佛美沙子を主演に起用した時点で僕的には成功です。でも、３０年前の小説を「なぜ今更？」とは思う。
岡 確かに、がけ崩れなどの特撮シーンも昭和５０年代の特撮映画みたいで臨場感に欠けた。ＮＨＫの合理化の影響だろうか？
小 「イノセント・ラヴ」は堀北真希の演技はいいし、脚本内容も深い。「サラリーマン金太郎」は、どうしても前の高橋克典のイメージが離れず「もういいよ」と思ったけど、お色気秘書役の青山倫子は良いです。
ドキドキ感ない
睦 「Ｒｏｏｍ Ｏｆ Ｋｉｎｇ」は初回は下ごしらえだけで終わった印象。今後どうなる？というドキドキ感がない。
め ダメですね（睦）さんは。テンポも良いし、一人ひとりのストーリーもハッキリして面白かったです。ドキドキ感を忘れちゃ、２０代女子にはモテませんよ。
汗 確かに……。「オー！マイ・ガール！！」は、安定感はあるが、すべて想定の範囲内。加藤ローサはコミカルな役の方がいいかな。
堀 先が読めるのは「セレブと貧乏太郎」も同じ。上地雄輔の人柄の良さはにじみ出ているけど……。
汗 最下位は「スクラップ・ティーチャー」。アイドルグループありきで作られたドラマをどうこう言っても仕方ないか。
睦 上地はここでも準主役級で出演。野球で鍛えたスポーツマンとはいえ、しんどそうだなあ。

Kitagawa Yuujin, "surprised" to be chosen for a Getsu 9 Drama
Lead actress Horikita Maki (19) and co-star Kitagawa Yuujin (31) of the folk duo Yuzu attended a press conference held in Tokyo on the 2nd of October for Fuji TV's drama Innocent Love (starting 20th October, Monday at 9pm). Kitagawa is taking up the new challenge of being in a drama. "I was surprised on being chosen, especially in a Getsu 9, but I was charmed by the enthusiasm the producer showed on the drama's theme of pure love," he said. "Since I'm still an amateur at it, I practiced my lines at home. But my mom went "What?" and I got quite worried," he said, laughing.

北川悠仁、月９大抜てきに「ビックリ」
女優・堀北真希(19)の主演で、フォークデュオ「ゆず」の北川悠仁(31)が相手役となるフジテレビ・関西系の連続ドラマ「イノセント・ラブ」（20日スタート。月曜、後９・00）の制作発表が２日、都内で行われた。連ドラ初挑戦の北川は「月９（ゲツク）ということであまりの大抜てきにビックリしましたが、プロデューサーの熱意とドラマの表現するテーマ（純愛）にひかれました」と出演に至った心境を吐露。「素人なので家でセリフの練習をしていると、母が『なに？』とか言って困ってます」と笑わせていた。

At first I wondered why me ? But the drama's production staff approached me with such enthusiasm and said "It definitely has to be Kitagawa-kun this time..."
I discussed it with Iwasawa-kun and Yuzu's staff too and we thought since this would also certainly be a plus for Yuzu, I decided to take up the challenge.

Shucks so the YK as the male lead rumours were true. He was referred to YK-kun so I was still hoping it was some other guy. This one's more like a -san isn't he ?! He doesn't look half-bad here actually. But can't imagine him with Maki when I see him here
The rest of the cast includes Kashii Yu, Fukushi Seiji, Narimiya Hiroki and Uchida Yuki.

Yuzu's Kitagawa, Male lead role out of the blue in drama debut
The theme is of modern-day solitude. The heroine, estranged from society, Kanon (Horikita Maki) finds love and this is painted as a modern version of the Cinderella story. The companion that she loves wholeheartedly will be played by Yuzu's leader, Kitagawa.
Acting after all this while, furthermore a first drama appearance which corresponds to about the same level as a main lead, Kitagawa said,"I was very surprised but as a whole new challenge for myself, I will do the very best I can."
He plays a cheerful and innocent pianist who carries a profound sadness inside him, a difficult role.
Yuzu celebrated their 10th year anniversary last year.
During his live performances, he grabs the microphone and moves freely around the stage with his invigorating and cheerful smiling face. Those who know him during his acting years will find it nostalgic and those who don't will find him projecting something fresh. It will no doubt be a big topic of discussion.
Update : According to this Sponichi article, he plays a pianist who leads a children's choir in church.

今作は“現代の孤独”をテーマに、世間から疎外されたヒロイン・佳音（かのん、堀北）が、幸せを見つけるまでを描く現代版シンデレラ・ストーリー。その堀北が一途に愛する相手・殉也を演じるのが、ゆずのリーダー、北川だ。
あまり知られていないが、北川は、ゆずが軌道に乗る前の一時期、俳優として活動。これまでテレビ朝日系「名探偵保健室のオバさん」（平成９年放送）などに出演、８年公開の映画「オールナイトロング３最終章」では、ナント主演を務めた過去がある。１０年にゆずがブレークし、音楽活動がすべてとなった。
だが、今回、久々の俳優業、しかも初の連ドラ出演で準主役という大役に抜てき。北川は「とてもビックリしましたが、新たな自分への挑戦として、いまできることを精いっぱい頑張ります」と、オファーを受け入れた。
演じるのは、明るく天真爛漫（らんまん）に振る舞いながらも、内側に深い悲しみを抱えているピアニスト、という難しい役柄。フジテレビの中野利幸プロデューサーは「彼の内面からにじみ出る色気がドラマに反映できたら、すてきな化学反応が起こると思う」と期待している。
ゆずも昨年デビュー１０周年を迎え、ますます波に乗っているところ。北川は「この経験が、これからの音楽活動にも刺激を与えてくれることを楽しみにしています」と、相乗効果に期待を寄せる。
ライブでは、ハンドマイクを持ってステージを縦横無尽に駆け回り、さわやかな明るい笑顔を振りまいている北川。彼の俳優時代を知っている人には懐かしく、知らない人には新鮮に映りそうで、大きな話題となるのは間違いない。

Yipee. So by now everyone must've read the article on Tokyograph. A modern-day Cinderella tale, who's going to be the Prince Charming ? The threads in 2ch are buzzing and it's hard to keep up with all the rumours. I don't know who's speculating and who has insider news so everything here on is just snippets of what I skim through. 月９はM.Hさん、Y.KさんとY.Kくんが登板する模様です。
The Y.K might be Yu Kashii who'll play the Prince Charming's sister but who feels *ehem* unnatural affection for her brother. She'll feel jealous towards Maki and starts ill-treating her. The Y.K-kun may be the male lead but I can't guess who it might be. Of course against all hopes, I was hoping for Y.T-kun (><)
