Kitagawa Keiko for Cyber-shot Keitai S006

On 3rd February, actress Kitagawa Keiko (24) attended the CM presentation for Sony Ericsson's Cyber-shot Keitai S006. Besides its touch panel and high-speed telecommunications functions, the mobile phone comes equipped with a 16.2 million pixel camera. In the new commercial that starts airing on the 5th, Kitagawa showed off various facial expressions with the theme of 'self-taken photos' and 'photos taken of oneself'. "During the shoot, I was asked to look like the photos were taken by a lover or someone I liked. It made me feel embarrassed but I'm glad they turned out well," she commented shyly. Singer Naoto Inti Raymi also attended the presentation and sang the CM song 'Ima no Kimi o Wasurenai'.

A few days back, filming for 'Paradise Kiss' completed!

It's kinda lonely now after 3 months of working together with the staff and actors...

I think the finished product is worth looking forward to.

This time, it's another challenging new role for me, I'd like everyone to see it (^^)

Keiko-chan is really like an older sister, very gentle and cool...

She helped me out a lot during filming!

Miura Haruma & Kitagawa Keiko for Knorr

On the 23rd, Miura Haruma and Kitagawa Keiko attended the CM presentation for Ajinomoto's Knorr Cup Soup in Tokyo. It's the first time that they are working together. "It's our first time! Maybe we can work together again," Miura said. Kitagawa too agreed, "Perhaps next time in a drama."

The CM airs from the 24th onwards.

Co-stars Aibu Saki (24) and Kanjiya Shihori (23) had a birthday surprise for her on the 23rd. "The two of them also gave me individual presents,"she said happily. Good morning, niku here.
The broadcast date is approaching, my heart's going pitter-patter...
Yesterday we filmed a training scene at the gymnasium.



The photo shows a support banner hung at the gymnasium.
In the center is the JC ARCS character, A-kun!
He can spin the ball on his finger. Nowadays when Yamashita-kun is free, he will practice that (*laugh*)
Planning to take A-kun's place??

Cast Preview Impressions



Cast members share their thoughts with the audience after preview on 9th July:

Yamashita Tomohisa
(Knowing that not only locals, but foreigners are also among the audience)
Many people came today, even from far away, thank you very much.
Watching the drama, for me personally too, it was interesting.
Although I have been given the lead role, this work is the endeavor of everyone, the cast, staff, and director.
With everybody making a serious effort to make a great production, even when filming is difficult, I want to give it my best.

Kitagawa Keiko
I enjoyed watching it as part of an audience too.
Letting everyone watch the first episode was nerve-racking and I was very conscious of being evaluated.
Hearing laughter and cheers soon after made me glad.
I'll be happy if everyone watching here tells everyone else how interesting it was.

Aibu Saki
The basketball game was time-consuming during filming.
It was an emotionally-packed scene and I was moved hearing everyone's cheers from the stands.
Look forward to my role in a romance that slowly grows muddy, pure love as it may be (*laugh*)

Kanjiya Shihori
It was fun watching it together with everyone. Thank you very much.

Mizobata Junpei
Cool, charming, interesting, sparkling, heart-pounding, it's packed with interesting elements, I want to know what happens next! Kitagawa-san's slap in the face was something else (*laugh*)

Nagai Masaru
I'm happy being able to share the drama with everyone.
It's been a while, Getsu 9 has returned! This is what the drama feels like. Will definitely watch its continuation.

Ito Hideaki
(Imitating Yamashita's and Nagai's comments)
It was interesting for me personally too. Feels like Getsu 9 has returned.
I think this will be another great Getsu 9 drama under Director Nagayama.
For so many people attending today, coming from far away, thank you very much.

Yamapi & Keiko in new summer drama





Monday at 9. Fuji TV. Starts July 2009.
Tentative title : Buzzer Beat ～ Gakeppuchi no Hero ～
Yamashita Tomohisa : Honest, straightforward guy who works for a basketball club. In basketball, work and love, when it comes down to the crunch, turns out to be a timid guy. Falls in love with Keiko.
Keiko Kitagawa : A cheerful, positive and headstrong girl.
Ito Hideaki : Coach of Yamapi's basketball team and later a love rival.
Aibu Saki : Yamapi's girlfriend.
Mizobata Junpei : Yamapi's colleague.

Other cast members : Kaneko Nobuaki, Maya Miki, Nagai Masaru, Kanjiya Shihori.

Thanks for all your impressions !!
Good evening !! Today too thanks for everything (^-^)/ Because of the filming that lasted till late last night, I was fast asleep until noon today !! After that I went to the hairdressing salon and got my hair done !! Some of you were surprised by my black hair in the photo yesterday but it's just for one day (^O^)/ I'm back to brown hair again !! I wonder, which one suits me better ??

Thank you for your impressions on yesterday's Homeroom on the Beachside !! I borrowed a video from a friend and watched it carefully too you know !! I'm being helped along by Oda-san, Kitagawa-san and the rest of my co-actors !! It was an episode centered around me and I tried to inject as much emotions as I could into the hour-long drama. I still have a long way to go and I apologize that my acting is still in the rough but this experience has been a small step up for me !! Thank you very much (^-^)/
Tomorrow I'm going to Odaiba Adventure King to cheer for peachｙ'ｓ, the idol group that came out of Pop-Ya !!

Talking about Kitagawa Keiko, I think she's gorgeous. Grumpy has somehow developed a distaste for her, she said there's something about Keiko's nose that bothered her heh. Anyway, Keiko also mentions Yusuke in her blog entries here and here. These are translated by a fan, thank you !

Ah and also Yusuke calls her Kitagawa-san here but according to the original entry from her 17th August entry...

感想ありがとう!!
こんばんは!!今日も１日お疲れ様でしたぁ(^-^)/今日は昨日の撮影が深夜まであったせいがぐっすりと昼過ぎまで寝てしまいました!!その後に美容院に行き髪をすいてもらいましたっ!!昨日のブログの写メで黒髪になっていてビックリしている方もいましたが、１日限定の黒髪でした(^O^)/もう、茶髪に戻ってますよ!!僕ってどっちの色が似合うのかな!??

昨日の太陽と海の教室の感想ありがとうございましたっ!!僕も友達にビデオを借りてしっかり見ましたよ!!いや～織田さんはじめ、北川さんら他の共演者の方のお芝居に助けられた気がします!!めちゃくちゃ自分の回だけど、感情移入できたっていうかドラマとして一時間みてしまいました。まだまだ、荒削りなお芝居で申し訳ないんですが、今回の経験でまた小さな階段登れたきがします!!ありがとうございました(^-^)/
明日はお台場冒険王にポップ屋から生まれたアイドルユニット『peachｙ'ｓ』の応援に行ってきます!!
