Sorry for not posting an update.
About Mao-san, she's doing fine so please don't worry.
Next week, I plan to upload photos like what she wore at Kouhaku and so on.

Inoue Mao receives Fountain Pen Award
The award ceremony for personalities that best suit fountain pens, the 'Fountain Pens Best Coordinate Award 2011' was held at Haneda Airport Terminal Building on 8th November. Inoue Mao won the open category where the winner is selected by popular votes on the web. The award is in its 8th year and its objective is to spread the popularity of fountain pens. 15 companies dealing with the import of fountain pens, writing materials and manufacturing of writing products sponsored the event. Inoue first used a fountain pen when she was a young girl. "There was one at my grandmother's house and I used it to write kanji and draw pictures. I received one when I turned 20 and have used it to write letters." She attributed her win to her role in NHK's Ohisama. "There were many scenes where I wrote letters during the asadora so I think it's because of that." When asked,"Do you write letters to your sweetheart?" she laughed and replied,"There's no one in particular but I'd like to write to someone wonderful."
Other personalities who attended the event included Suzuki Kyoka, Ito Shiro, Okada Takeshi, Tomoyasu Hotei, Nogiwa Yoko and Hirao Seiji. Kuroki Meisa, who was unable to attend, relayed a video message.

Fringe and new hair colour. Miss seeing the shiny forehead :) But what the heck is she wearing? It looks like leftover cloth stitched haphazardly together.

Mizuho Bank New CM
2nd October 2011 19:32
The story behind the Mizuho Bank CM filming.
This time the location is on top of a mountain in early morning.
It's Mount Hachibuse in Nagano Prefecture! A few days after 'Ohisamatsuri', we were back in Nagano!!
We were aiming to film as the morning sun rose!
So, were we on standby in the middle of the night? No, we started at 2:20 in the morning!!!!
This time you can see Mao-san taking a stroll under the gorgeous morning light.
It's at the top of a mountain, so the wind was pretty strong and the temperature was hovering around 10°C.
With the wind chill factor, it was even colder.
Tokyo is still warm so we were one step ahead in experiencing winter (*laugh*)
Thanks to the staff who did the rehearsal countless times beforehand, we managed to get everything done beautifully!!
The CM will start airing in the Kanto region on 28 September, so please check it out!!
Those outside the Kanto region, please check on Mizuho Bank's homepage!
http://www.mizuhobank.co.jp/
The making of the CM will also be put up later, I'm looking forward to it myself♪♪

Inoue Mao and Oguri Shun reunite for CM
On 1st September, Inoue Mao (24) and Oguri Shun (28) attended the presentation of NTT West's latest commercials for its fiber optic broadband service 'FLET's Hikari'. The two new commercials tout the convenience that Hikari brings into everyday life. Both of them have worked together many times before, such as in the 'Hana Yori Dango' series and 'Juui Dolittle', but their roles in the CM are a little different from the usual.
In the CM, Inoue works for FLET's and introduces Oguri to the wonders of Hikari Life. Oguri said,"Most of the time when we act together, I'm the one who gives her support. This time, I'm the one given the support. It's refreshing."
Reporters then asked them for comments on the marriage announcement of actor Tanaka Kei (27). Tanaka plays the role of Inoue's brother in the currently airing NHK drama 'Ohisama'. "As his younger sister, I'm happy for him,"she commented. Oguri, who is from the same talent agency as Tanaka congratulated him. When asked by reporters,"How about yourself?", Oguri just smiled and had no comment.
The commercials will start airing from the 2nd.

Thanks to all your support, Youkame No Semi is a big hit!
Thank you♪
Actually the other day, filming ended early so Mao-san went to the cinema!!
She lined up at the counter and when she asked for 'Youkame No Semi',
it was a full house and she couldn't get in!!
"I'm so thankful and happy, but what a pity!" said a vexed Mao-san (*laugh*)
That day, we watched 'Black Swan' instead.
But since we were already there, she took the opportunity to take a photo with a huge poster♪
For those who have not seen it yet, please watch it at theaters!!
And if you happen to see Mao-san at the cinema, please leave her be! (*laugh*)
Thank you very much!

♪Weekly Shounen Magazine♪
7th March 2011 14:30
We had a shoot for 'Weekly Shounen Magazine' yesterday♪
As expected, we cannot go abroad with the schedule we have now,
so we went to the studio house at Shichirigahama where the ocean can be seen!!
It was unusually good weather for a magazine shoot!!
It seems like M-san from Kodansha has somehow turned into the 'clear weather guy' this year (*laugh*)
But as always Mao-san invokes the wind... she really is the wind lady.
From the roof, the scenery really looks like we are abroad!!
Thanks to the clear weather and the breeze, we could the the symbol of Japan, Mount Fuji, clearly!
Do you see what's that fuzzy thing on the right side of Mao-san??
About half of the staff that day had hay fever so the location was a flurry of sneezes.
I have it too and I cannot sneeze daintily at all. Mao-san is always laughing at me...
Mao-san's sneezes are really cute!!
Then while the wonderful interview was going on, I unintentionally let out an "Aaaaahhchoooooo!!!"...
The writer immediately said,"You sure sneeze like an old man!!"'
(By the way, Mao-san does not have hay fever, so don't worry)
The cameraman this time is Saito Kiyotaka-san.
Looking at his photos, people said,"No wonder he's called Mister Clear Shots!!"
Saito-san even shows an amateur like me photography pointers!
Finally everyone took a photo as a keepsake♪♪
Everyone squeezed in to fit into one frame (*laugh*)
Weekly Shounen Magazine Combined Volume 22・23 goes on sale on 27th April!!
