Mokomichi will cook for you
14th May 2010
On 13th May, actor Hayami Mokomichi (25) and model/actress Anne (24) attended a press event for the 'Tabekawa Project', a joint collaboration between anan magazine and Suntory. 'Tabekawa' is a new trend word created by anan to describe someone who loves to eat and does so with relish while still looking cute. Anne was recently ranked first by anan magazine as someone who fits that description.
Mokomichi, who lists cooking as one of his strengths, whipped up a salad for Anne. Anne said,"I love to eat. People think that models don't eat much but for me 3 meals a day is a must." Asked about the type of men she likes, she replied,"Someone who likes eating like me, we'll enjoy delicious food together. I'd like him to cook for me too."
As for Mokomichi, who will release a book of original recipes in July, he said,"I find people who like to eat appealing." The simple salad he made on stage is just an appetizer to his cooking prowess. "Japanese food, Chinese food, Western food, I can cook them all. I eat often with my mom." "Only with mom?" asked reporters. "With my mom..." he replied, squirming a little. Is there anyone he'd like to cook for then? "If I was paid to, I'd cook for whoever wants me to,"he replied laughing.
Suntory and anan are currently running a contest on YouTube where you can submit a video of yourself enjoying eating and drinking Suntory's Oolong Tea. The winner stands to receive five hundred thousand yen and an invitation to a home-cooked meal by Mokomichi.

Shinagawa Daichi Blog
YanMega x Tumbling
10th May 2010 21:08
Filming in the studio today
Daito dropped by the set
for a visit
[laugh]
This photo
might be kinda hard to understand
It's been a while since we last met
He's become really cool
Surprised me
Filming for Tumbling
Seems to be absurdly difficult
Even though he was grumbling about it
He returned to the studio
And then...
For me
Filming was over for the day
To midtown
To do some shopping
For today too
Thanks for the support
This has been Shinagawa Daichi.
