Hashida Rookie of the Year Award
Oguri Shun and Inoue Mao win the 16th Hashida Rookie of the Year Award for their roles in Hana Yori Dango 2 Returns.
Standing on stage and making a formal appearance for the first time since the news of his relationship with Yamada broke, Shun remarked that the the news surrounding him recently has not been about dramas/plays. The press later asked him if his big wave of love has come for him. His face stiffened up for an instant, then he left the hall with no comment.

How could these two still qualify as Rookies ? And give the guy a break huh, totally unrelated questions to the occasion. Mao's blog was updated on the 9th with a photo of her in Vietnam. So it means those are actually not real-time updates ? Osoi ne, her staff.

小栗旬、「恋のビッグウェーブきた？」に顔ひきつらせる
俳優の小栗旬が、日本人の心や人と人との触れ合いを温かく取り上げてきた番組や人物に贈られる『第16回 橋田賞』の新人賞を受賞し10日（土）、都内で行われた授賞式に出席。女優・山田優との熱愛報道後、初めて公の場に姿をみせた小栗は壇上で「最近、芝居とは関係ない所で世間を賑せています」と自ら牽制してみせたが、その後の報道陣からの「恋のビッグウェーブきましたね？」という質問に一瞬イラっとした表情をみせノーコメントのまま会場を後にした。
現代に生きる様々な青年像を的確かつ魅力的に演じ分け、幅広い分野での活躍が評価された小栗は「最近、芝居とは関係ない所で世間を賑せていますが、賞を受賞したことで芝居もやってると思って頂けると思う。“別のこと”ではなく、これからも演劇と芝居でいろんな方に感動を届けられれば」と熱愛報道を意識してのコメントを入れつつ、今後の抱負を力強く語った。
小栗は、7日深夜に放送されたニッポン放送『小栗旬のオールナイトニッポン』（毎週水曜・深夜1時～）で山田について「とても大切なガールフレンドです」と宣言。翌日、山田も自身のブログで「私にとって彼は大切な大事な存在です」と綴るなど互いに交際を認める発言をしていた。
なお、この日は小栗と同じく新人賞に『花より男子2～リターンズ～』（TBS系）の井上真央、橋田賞には『相棒』シリーズ（テレビ朝日系）の水谷豊、寺脇康文、『関口知宏の中国鉄道大紀行～最長片道ルート36，000をゆく～』（NHK）の関口知宏、『どんど晴れ』（NHK）の草笛光子、『はだしのゲン』（フジテレビ系）の中井貴一、『ハケンの品格』（日本テレビ系）、演出家・石橋冠（『点と線』テレビ朝日系）、脚本家・君塚良一（『はだしのゲン』フジテレビ）、脚本家・小松江里子（『どんど晴れ』NHK）、橋田賞特別賞には脚本家の山田太一が輝いた。
