Maki and Sho in new drama?

Ohara Masako of comedy duo Kuwabata Ohara wrote an entry titled 'Tokujou Kabachi!!' in her official blog today (9th November). She wrote that she will be making a guest appearance in the first episode. The entry was written after the actors met up for an introduction meeting. "Beginning with the main characters Sakurai Sho and Horikita Maki, the rest of the cast members which includes Nakamura Masatoshi and Asano Yuko were all gathered in full force." She also wrote about seeing Maki without make-up. "She still looks the same!! Too cute!!"

'Tokujou Kabachi!!', a manga that has been published in weekly magazine 'Morning' since 1999 was made into a drama 'Kabachitare' by Fuji TV in 2001. The popular series averaged 19.3% in ratings over 11 episodes. 'Tokujou Kabachi!!' is a continuation of 'Kabachitare' but this sequel is handled by a different station and a completely different cast so it remains to be seen if it would prove to be a hit for TBS as well.

The entry has been deleted and replaced with one about a fabric softener (゚o゚;) All that's left it a cached screenshot of when she first made the entry.

Btw, Yamapi was in the 2001 version (><)

No way, no way!!! A new drama with Maki?! And with Sho?! I'm bursting with excitement! This is sooooo great! I wish I could do cartwheels right now. That's how happy and excited I feel.

Wishful thinking: Next up, Maki guests on Arashi's shows. ;)

Thank you very much, unleash! :)
