Oguri Shun "Date with Corteo !" ... Opens February next year

A press conference to promote Corteo, the latest production from the Canadian performance troupe Cirque du Soleil, was held at Fuji TV in Odaiba on the 20th of October. Ogura Tomoaki (61) and Oguri Shun (25) were among the supporters. "All you gentlemen my age, watch Corteo on your date !" Oguri called out, making his appeal.
Corteo, which is an Italian word, was first performed in April 2005. The main character is a clown who looks back on his life. Dreams and reality intertwine and a wondrous world unfolds.

小栗旬「デートはコルテオ！」…来年２月から東京公演
来年２月に東京公演が行われるカナダのパフォーマンス集団、シルク・ドゥ・ソレイユ最新作「ダイハツ コルテオ」の制作発表が２０日、東京・台場のフジテレビで行われた。サポーター８人のうち、応援団長の小倉智昭（６１）と、俳優の小栗旬（２５）ら新加入の５人が参加＝写真。小栗は「同世代の男性諸君、デートでコルテオを見に行こう！」と呼びかけた。
イタリア語で行列を意味する「コルテオ」は２００５年４月に初演。人生を振り返る１人のクラウン（道化役者）を主人公に、夢とも現実ともつかない不思議な世界が繰り広げられる。
